CERTIFICATIONS

The implementation of a quality system at the de Nigris factory was necessary to formalize in writing all of the procedural aspects of the manufacturing process. Following these systems improves the efficiency, safety and quality of the products and allows for better service to our customers.

Certification by outside auditors is especially important in the food sector because it insur that the producer is following safe manufacturing practices. In addition, it provides a mechanism for tracing batches of goods and helps the producer manage many parts of the business in a fair and reasonable way.

The seal of an independent and worldwide auditor assures the company is subject to periodic audits at plant level and corrective action is to be taken when any potential problem is identified.

The intent of the quality certification is to create an international security standard, with the aim to provide a uniform evaluation basis for all companies involved in the food chain, and assure maximum product safety.

De Nigris Acetificio, after an evaluation of different studies and results published by the most important Universities and National Research Laboratories, decided to follow ANTAB methodology.
Pursuing the purpose of customers protection, several qualities of balsamic vinegar have been identified , through evaluation criteria based on strict chemical and physical ranges.
The Stars rate system has been used to classify different typologies of products.

The ISO 9001 Certification is recognized worldwide and insures that the quality system of an organization, whether large or small, is adequate.
